Alberta is Candida's fastest growing and most populous part of the three prairie territories of Canada.
It first became a provenance on 1 September 1905. Alberta is Canada's 4th largest province. There are
vast oil reserves which is economically important to Canada. Albert is in Western Canada with
Saskatchewan to the east, and British Columbia on its western side. The closest USA state to Alberta is
the state of Montana. Alberta is one of the few Canadian provinces that is considered landlocked,
meaning is not next to an ocean. The two largest cities of Alberta is Edmonton and Calgary, with
Edmonton being the capital of Alberta. Alberta is actually named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta,
the 4th daughter of Queen Victoria. Alberta's highest point is the summit of Mount Columbia in the
Rocky Mountains Alberta has many rivers and lakes and its very popular to visit in the summertime. The Alberta badlands are in southeastern part of Alberta, where the Red Deer River crosses the flat prairie. Alberta has been a tourist destination from the early part of the last century. Skiing, hiking and camping are some of the top reasons people visit Alberta. .
